Sunday Night AWANA A great way for young people grades PreK-6th to enjoy a fun-filled, creative weekly learning experience, utilizing the nationally recognized AWANA stepped process of proclaiming God's good news and discipline them to grow through study, discussion, interactive games, a Bible-life lesson, small groups and snacks. Middle School and High School Sunday Nights The youth grades 7-12 enjoy praise and worship with their own praise team, a Bible study and discussion time, balanced by an incredible time of fun & games, plus special trips to Kings Dominion, CreationFest, Acquire The Fire, and local events such as pizza and bowling to encourage a sense of Christian community. The middle-schoolers and the high-schoolers experience worship and games together every Sunday (excluding summers) from 4 - 6, yet they separate for the Bible study/discussion time. Though the lessons are different, the youth always come home having learned something and having a wonderful, fun night. Youth Sunday School Youth Sunday School is integrated with other youth ministries. Young people grades 7-12 are taught & encouraged in their daily walk with Jesus Christ. College and Career Meets Sundays at 8:30am, tackling tough issues in a close-knit inspiring time of study and fellowship. |
Men's Ministry
| Monthly Breakfast The men and boys in our midst really enjoy the monthly time of fellowship, great food, and a devotional time (Usually held on the first Saturday of each month at 8am). Special Events The Men's Ministry provides regular opportunities for fun & fellowship for the entire FBC family, including skating, bowling, trips to sports events, men's retreats, etc. |
Womens Ministries
| Strengthening women through friendship, prayer and teaching. As the wives, mothers and daughters in our midst make Christ at home in their hearts, He empowers them in their relationships, families, careers, and church. Womens Bible Study A weekly study designed to meet the spiritual and friendship needs of women who share common challenges of single and married life, raising children and careers. All women are welcome! Thursdays at 9:30am at the church. Childcare is available as needed. Nehemiah Challenge The Prayer Partner Ministry is focused on praying with the other women about challenges in our lives while we grow in our relationship with God. It is a commitment to pray for personal growth and specific needs. Information cards are submitted to the leader, and names are paired after prayerful consideration by the leadership team. all ladies are encouraged to join at any time. Opportunities To Serve: Decorating Ministry Creating an attractive and pleasing look at FBC Meals That Heal Providing food and encouragement for people in need Kitchen Ministry Providing and/or organizing meals for special events Flower Ministry Sending flowers to comfort and encourage people in times of celebration, crisis or sorrow |
Music At FBC
| Sunday Praise Teams A lively group of worshipers help lead worship at all three services - 8:30, 10 and 11:30am every Sunday, and the 8:30am Service features a communion every week. Specials Special Musical Services at FBC often include Christmas, Easter, Concerts of Prayer, and other special times of celebration and worship. |
