Christy took on the additional role of the Early Childhood Education Director at the end of 2022. She was the first person the staff thought of when they saw a need for this position. She was already teaching in the Pre-K/K class during second service and her daughters were steady servants in the nursery. Christy now oversees the Nursery, 2's & 3's, and Pre-K/K programs.

Christy began serving the church as custodian in the summer of 2017.  She was blessed to be born into a missionary and pastoral family. Her birthplace is Indonesia where her parents served at the time. Rod and Carole Ann Spade raised her and her brother to seek the kingdom of God and love him with their whole heart. Today she’s married to her wonderful husband, Josh, of 16 years.
