Pastor Mark was born and raised in Martinsburg, West Virginia and grew up at Independent Bible Church. He felt the call of God into the ministry at the age of 16 and attended Washington Bible College after his graduation from Musselman High School (yes, the applesauce).

 

Since graduation, Mark has held many positions, including Student Pastor, Worship Pastor, Connections Pastor and Lead Pastor in several churches in Maryland. He is known for his humor and personable teaching style and for his passionate worship leading.

He and his wife Mary and their 3 boys, Lincoln, Grant and Pierce live in Calvert County and have 3 dogs! 

 

Mark loves reading, music, baseball (big Orioles fan) and being constantly disappointed by his favorite football team, The Commanders.
