About the Young Ladies Confernce
The Young Ladies' Conference is a low-cost, God-inspired day for young ladies who are incoming 6th graders through outgoing 12th graders to enjoy biblically grounded large and small group sessions, purpose-filled activities, fellowship with teens they know as well as teens they don't know, worship, prayer, lunch and afternoon snack, and more. Everything the young ladies engage in that day is centered around the conference theme and message. God weaves all the details of the day together to make the day meaningful to all who attend. God even makes sure the young ladies have items to take home to remind them of what they experienced and learned in that day, as well as remind them of His faithfulness to them. The conference is limited to 50 young ladies so that the conference team can give unique and special attention to each participant, all can move around in our space well so as not to be sitting the entire day, and the conference team can accommodate learning and food needs to the best of our ability.

Conference Vision and Mission
The verse that comes to mind regarding vision is from Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
Motivated by a desire to share the good news of Jesus through practical mentorship and
life-transforming love, we, as the body of Christ, aim to encourage one another toward holy priorities and complete surrender in both our personal and communal relationships with God. Our volunteers will seek to model and stir up our participants and one another toward good works of studying scripture, prayer, worship, fellowship, unity, and service in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and through the leading of the Holy Spirit.
About Karen
Karen Beach is the Young Ladies' Conference Servant Coordinator. She has a BA degree in Human Development from St. Mary's College of Maryland. She often says she has "a degree in people throughout the human lifespan". Since receiving Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 29, Karen has been passionate about connecting people to God, to authentic Christian fellowship with one another, and to the passions and gifting God has put in them. Karen loves learning and connecting others to a love for learning. She is semi-retired from 23 years of homeschooling her own 4 children and still enjoys pouring into the children of other homeschool families. Karen considers it a blessing to have been an educator in nearly every paid workplace God gave her to work in. 'It is a great joy to discover how others learn and then teach them in the way that connects them to the material being taught. It is an ever greater joy to witness the Holy Spirit working through my experiences and healing to connect others more deeply to God.' After seeking God first and serving her family second, Karen seeks to daily live out Titus 2 ministry with ladies of all ages doing life together in discipleship.
